- Length (Longest Side): Outer edge to outer edge.
- Width (Shortest Side): Outer edge to outer edge.
- Diameter (Round Items): Widest point, straight across center.

- Measure Twice: Check all dimensions in two different spots.
- Use the Largest: If measurements vary, always use the largest number to ensure fit.
